Care Connect Bury Ltd has a multi-skilled workforce, currently employing over 60 members of staff. Each staff member has the qualifications and experience to fulfil their role. The service reflects, through staff, the cultural, religious and social make-up of the local community, so that Service Users do not feel distanced from those who share their culture or background. Our Staff show, by their actions, a commitment to equality and diversity, by enabling Service Users to maintain community links, friendships, and memberships of religious or community organisations.
Sher Khan
CEO & Registered Provider
Sher Khan, Registered Provider/CEO – MSc, BSc (Hons), MiMgt, QCF Level-4 Business Administration. Health & Safety Level 2. Sher has over 18 years’ experience in health and social care and his role oversee the service, including auditing performance in three-weekly management meetings, finances, payroll and is the highest point-of-escalation.
Angela Brooks
Registered Manager & Nominated Person
With over 30 years of experience in the care sector, Angela Brooks brings a wealth of knowledge and compassion to her role as Registered Manager. Her career has spanned from sheltered accommodation to domiciliary care, and for the past 17 years, she has been a cornerstone of Care Connect, leading with dedication and integrity.
Angela holds a Level 4 qualification in Health and Social Care and is a certified Level 3 Trusted Assessor. She also oversees overseas care coordinators and the HR team, ensuring high standards of care and support across the board.
Known for her calm leadership and deep understanding of the sector, Angela is passionate about delivering person-centred care and supporting her team to thrive.
Outside of work, she enjoys travelling and cherishing time with her grandchildren.
Muhammad
Finance Manager
Muhammad is an ACCA-qualified accountant with a Master’s degree in Financial Technology. He brings over two years of experience in accounting and banking, combining technical expertise with a keen eye for financial detail. Muhammad plays a key role in managing our financial operations and ensuring transparency and efficiency.
Outside of work, Muhammad enjoys playing cricket, exploring the countryside, and eating out with friends.
Shirley
HR & Training Manager
With over 25 years of customer service experience and 7 years in HR, employee engagement, and staff development, Shirley brings a wealth of knowledge and a people-first approach to our team. She holds a CIPD Level 5 Diploma in Human Resource Management and is passionate about creating a supportive and empowering workplace culture.
Outside of work, Shirley enjoys knitting, eating out and spending time outdoors with her family attending to their allotment patch.
Tracey
Care Coordinator
With 30 years of experience in the care sector, Tracey has worked extensively in both hospital and domiciliary care settings. For the past 15 years, she has excelled as a Care Coordinator, bringing a wealth of knowledge and leadership to the role. She holds a Level 3 qualification in Health and Social Care and is a trained Trusted Assessor (Level 3).
Outside of work, Tracey enjoys going to the gym and walking her dog.
Gabrielle
Care Coordinator
Gabrielle brings over 14 years of experience in care and education, with a strong background supporting individuals with diverse needs. She holds a BA (Hons) in Education and Special Needs, along with a Level 5 qualification in Health and Social Care. Gabrielle is passionate about delivering person-centred care and making a positive impact every day.
Outside of work, Gabrielle enjoys walking her dog and travelling with family and friends and eating out.
Zoe
Administrator
Zoe brings 18 months of customer service experience and a strong academic background with a BSc (Hons) in Occupational Therapy. She supports the team with efficiency and a friendly approach, helping everything run smoothly behind the scenes.
Outside of work, Zoe enjoys singing in a choir and getting lost in a good book—whether it’s fiction or non-fiction.
